Description
1. Rubber Curry Comb (Step 1)
- Function: The rubber curry comb is used to loosen dirt, mud, and loose hair. It stimulates circulation and massages the skin. It’s essential to start with this comb to lift debris from the horse’s coat, making it easier for the subsequent brushes to clean.
- Usage: Use circular motions across the body, avoiding sensitive areas like the face and legs. Also used to clean brushes
2. Haas Military (Step 2)
- Function: This is a stiff, dense brush with strong bristles, designed to remove heavy dirt and dried mud after the curry comb has loosened it. The Military brush is known for its deep-cleaning capability, perfect for tough, caked-on dirt.
- Usage: Use firm, short strokes in the direction of hair growth to remove the heavier dirt and debris.
3. Haas Cavaliere (Step 3)
- Function: The Cavaliere brush is medium-stiff and follows the Military to remove finer dust and dirt. It’s softer than the Military, making it ideal for cleaning the coat further and getting rid of the smaller particles left behind.
- Usage: Brush along the coat with medium-pressure strokes, covering larger body areas.
4. Haas Fellglanz (Step 4)
- Function: The Fellglanz brush is another soft finishing brush, designed to enhance coat smoothness and shine even further. It’s similar to the Diva, but with slightly different bristles to smooth the coat and create a sleek finish.
- Usage: Finish with long, smooth strokes to create a glossy, polished appearance over the entire body.
5. Haas Diva Exklusiv (Step 5)
- Function: The Diva Exklusiv is a soft-bristled brush, featuring a blend of horsehair and lambswool. It’s used for finishing, leaving the coat soft and shiny. The lambswool ensures a glossy, polished look, while the brush is gentle enough for sensitive areas.
- Usage: Use long, gentle strokes to bring out the horse’s natural shine, especially on more sensitive parts of the body like the face and flanks.
